Chongqing’s 1st International Tower-ascending Competition kicked off on November 14th in Jiefangbei CBD of Yuzhong District, attracting more than 700 participants from provinces and cities of Beijing, Shandong and Hu’nan to ascend 73 floors of the WFC, the 1st tower in Southwest China.

Wang Rong, a 61-year-old disabled competitor on crutches attracted great attention on the site. He spent 30 minute in climbing.

Chongqing has held the competition for 7 years and upgraded it to the international level in 2015 with the total award of 100,000 yuan. (CQNEWS)
