CHONGQING (CQNEWS) -- Annual Spring Festival travel rush comes again, Xixi with big eyes and flexible body, the cable tunnel inspection robot becomes a “new partner” of Chongqingxi Railway Station. It is praised by its strong strength rather than its cute face. Equipped with many functional modules, like automatic laser navigation, cloud visible light, infrared shooting, gas sensing, voice alarm and "brain chip" memory, it accurately monitors the running status of power supply equipment.

"Xixi" is an inspection robot whose main job is to check the running situation of cables in the cable tunnel of Chongqingxi Railway Station, to effectively guarantee the stable power supply of trains on Chongqing - Guizhou Railway and the lighting power for daily use of the station.

Before its operation, high-voltage cable maintenance section workers of Chongqingxi Railway Station will assemble all equipment for it carefully.

Its body is made of light, waterproof and well-sealed engineering plastic. It is 640mm wide, 680mm long and nearly 700mm high. It weighs about 70kg. It’s really heavy so that it needs several adults to carry it. However, it is of high work efficiency, because it can work for 6 hours just being charged for 1 hour.
