CHONGQING (CQNEWS) -- A few days ago, Yangtze River Cableway Company announced that there would be a joint design competitive selection for comprehensive renovation project of Huangguan Escalator located at Lianglukou, which aims to make preparations for the transformation of Huangguan Escalator into a tourist attraction in future.

Built at the right moment to free Chongqing people from climbing steep slope, Huangguan Escalator affected the life of many people. Before its emergence, there were cable cars between Caiyuanba and Lianglukou in addition to long stairs.
