“Mirrors of the sky”: Another views of Mountain City

2020-08-14 14:21:11

CHONGQING (CQNEWS) -- In August, Chongqing welcomes the hot summer, and it’s time to take some beautiful photos of the city. In the midst of the hectic city life, a moment of peace and quiet is needed to capture the symmetrical beauty of this modern city with water as a mirror. High-rise buildings are lined up one after another. In a trance, one wonders whether the water is in the sky or the sky is in the water. Now, follow the camera to the “mirrors of the sky” of main districts of Chongqing and admire the city from a different view.

After more than three hours of waiting, the crimson clouds were captured in the same frame as the night lighting, and the splendor was doubled in the reflection of the water. At nightfall, Raffles City and the Grand Theatre on the other bank of the river were lit up. They were even more glowing with the lights of the thousands of families. (Secondary exposure)

No matter how hot it is, people can't stop looking for beauty. In order to secure the best spot, photographers rushed to a small pond on the sixth floor landscaped terrace of Landmark Riverside on Nanbin Road to wait before the sun went down. Even though the sun was blazing, they were focusing on adjusting their composition and couldn't care less about the heat.
