CHONGQING (CQNEWS) -- In the aircraft cabin, they always guard the safety of the cabin. In China Express Airlines, there is such a team of female security officers, known as “Lan Yun” Female Team which was set up in 2020.

In the term of “Lan Yun” Female Team, “Lan” takes the meaning of Mulan, meaning Mulan in blue sky; “Yun” takes the meaning of goodness. Therefore, Lan Yun means “the civil and military Mulan in blue sky”. This group of women with an average age of only 26 years old aviation security officers, carry out air security tasks in the aircraft, to protect the safety of the crew and aircraft, and dispose illegal interference and disruptive incidents on the aircraft.

For air safety officers, women’s physical fitness and skill training programs are the same as men’s, such as buttock, stick swinging, fist and leg methods, push-ups, etc., but there are differences in standards. They can pass the 100-meter race in 19 seconds, the 1,500-meter race in 9 minutes, and as for the 30-second barbell pull of 40kg, they have to do 12 to pass the barbell.
