CHONGQING (CQNEWS) -- Due to the dropping temperature, more and more citizens have chosen to fly to the south of China. Citizens have flocked in recent weeks to such destinations in the country’s south as Hainan, Yunnan and Hong Kong. In contrast, much fewer citizens decided to travel to northern cities, according to several local travel agencies on November 19th, 2013.

Compared with September and October, tourists heading south have increased by 20%. Chartered flights from Chongqing to Yunnan have also increased to 6 from the previous 1, according to Zhen Xu, who specifically deals with the route to Yunnan.

Moreover, the city saw rising price to south China. The present price to Xishuangbanna in Yunnan is 2,000 yuan per person, over 40% higher than that of the third quarter. (Translated by Chen Siyan, Fathom Language Limited)
