Children in Chongqing are enjoying a colourful summer vacation despite the scorching weather.

Pupils from Chongqing Bashu Primary School participated in a 'bridges' themed exhibition a few days ago with some students presenting their self-made replica models, including the Dongshuimen, Qiansimen, Huanghuayuan and even the Zhaozhou Bridge. Most of the models were made of wooden and foam boards.

A youth activity centre in Ba'nan District has opened free extracurricular classes, involving dancing, music and painting, for local children.
