Chongqing Flower Port, the city’s largest flower-themed park started construction in Jiangbei District on Monday.

The 1,000-mu project plans to plant about 600 varieties of flowers, including 1 million tulip flower bulbs and 5,000 square meters of lavender, which will ensure a park in full bloom all the year round.

It is expected to be completed in early 2016
