Chongqing Archives recently released the first archive series on 1945 China in order to mark the 69th anniversary of the Sino-Japanese War victory.

The archive series records the activities of Chongqing, the national wartime capital during this period, and marks September 3rd, "Victory Day", after the Japanese government officially surrendered in 1945.

There are 520 documents within the archive series, including “Chongqing’s Celebration Program Schedule” and the “‘Victory Day’ slogan”. (CQNEWS)(Translated by Chen Qiaodi)
