The designer of toilets in the park came to the idea of enveloping the house with plants so that it will match the surrounding environment. Moreover, it could be a relatively cool place in hot summer.

So called Green toilets are rare in Chongqing. Yubei District is presently building the 3rd green toilet, and will erect 19 public toilets of various styles within this year, according to Chongqing City Planning Infrastructure Administration Bureau.
