The daily passenger influx within Chongqing Jiangbei Airport has seen a rapid increase since the beginning of this year's peak summer travel season starting in July. The latest data released by the airport showed the daily passenger influx has increased to approximately 85,000 from 70,000 in June.

Several domestic destinations, such as Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Yunnan, Xinjiang and Tibet, are very popular among Chongqing tourists during this period.

"We have opened regular flights to Kanas, Korla, Tongliao and Baotou for people to enjoy a cooler climate thus far. Later on in July, we will open two new air routes to Yanji and Tianshui.
