CHONGQING (CQNEWS) -- Citizens will be able to perform self-serve check-in procedures at certain shopping malls from November 26th, 2013.

An automatic check-in machine in Star Light 68, a shopping mall located in Guanyinqiao, has been put into use, according to Chongqing Airport.

The machine is placed at the VIP Hall on the first floor of the shopping mall. It’s applicable to domestic flights departing from Chongqing (Spring Airlines excluded), while international, regional and connecting flights cannot be accessed at this time. Adult passengers without registered luggage can perform check-in procedures, however, passengers who need special care, such as children under 12 and pregnant women will need to check in at the airport itself.

Chongqing Airport has now installed 7 automatic check-in machines in places like Chongqing North Railway Station, Lianglukou Light Rail Station, Luzhou and Yibin in Sichuan, respectively. (Translated by Li Li, Fathom Language Limited)
