Zhuoshuifengyu Bridge, "the Asia’s No.1 Covered Bridge", has been in smooth reconstruction since April this year after it was razed by fire last November, according to Zhuoshui Ancient Town of Chongqing Qianjiang District on August 4th.

The reconstruction of the bridge’s main body has been all but completed, and workers are currently decorating the parts with national characteristics.

It is reported that the reconstructed bridge, 216.98 meters in length and 6 to 8.8 meters in width, is expected to be open to the public in late October this year. (CQNEWS)
